We defy Corona and do not let the Drummer Meeting Salzgitter take away from us! This year the international Drummer Meeting Salzgitter will take place online. Together with our cooperation partner Drumtrainer Berlin, we are putting together a great program with many international drum stars from two continents and five cities.
Founder and since 31 years musical and organizational director Ralli Lewitzki and Dirk Erchinger, long-time lecturer at Drummer Meeting and headmaster of Drumtrainer Berlin, have a lot of experience in dual teaching online and presence.
During the Corona pandemic, both the Salzgitter music school and Drumtrainer had to switch completely or partially to online teaching and have thus developed a strong technical infrastructure and teaching concepts.
We are now drawing on this knowledge and know-how to put together a great program for you. We have brought to the start for you:
Thomas Lang / Los Angeles : Drum Superstar
Stanton Moore / New Orleans : New Orleans Drum Hero
Aaron Comess / New York: Drummer der Spin Doctors, Joan Osborne, Marius Müller Westernhagen
Zacky Tsoukas (GR) / Salzgitter Medienzentrum/ Studio
PiTTi Hecht (D) / Salzgitter Medienzentrum/ Studio
Dirk Erchinger (D) / Drum Trainer Berlin
Randy Black (CAN) / Drum Trainer Berlin
Florian Fochs (D) / Studio Fochs
Dirk Brand (D) / Studio Brand
Werner Groisz (A) / Studio Groisz
The online lessons are conducted via the platform “Zoom”. We offer you three Masterclasses per day, 2x 45 minutes and 1x 90 minutes on Friday and Sunday. And on Saturday we offer you four masterclasses, 3x 45 minutes and 1x 90 minutes.
After each masterclass there is the possibility to chat with the lecturers.
All you need is a computer with camera or alternatively a tablet or mobile phone and a free registration at “Zoom”. For a stable internet connection we recommend the use of a lan cable. The camera should be set up in such a way that the lecturer can see the participants while they are playing in class and make appropriate and improvements. Likewise, the participants can see the lecturers in the master class via the device, so that lesson contents can be shown and played.
