Diego Piñeras strengh is his highly ability of independence and rhythmic language. He will give you advance and basic excersises for a better independence which is necesary to reach a new level of polyrhythmic playing. In his lessons you will get a deep view to afrocuban music, the concept of claves and how to orchestrate that on drums. Based on that knowledge you will receive an introduction of his concept of modern latin jazz drums which is based on a unique polyrhythmic aproach. Diego Piñera studied at the University of Music in Havanna with José Luis „Changuito“ Quintana, at Berklee College of Music in Boston with Danilo Perez and received the ECHO Jazz award as best instrumentalist in 2017. www.diegopinera.com
