In this course „The History of Swing & Funk“ drumming legend Mike Clark, former drummer of the headhunters, tells you how he feels about funk, swing, jazz, phrasing & history. In the first segment Mike talks about his approach to drumming in Jazz and funk and in the second part he talks about different ways to play Slow Blues and Jazz. He ends the lesson with a solo in his very own style: the Oakland Funk. Furthermore we recorded two more solos and a long interview with this great drummer.
