We are proud to present Jas Kayser, the current drummer for Lenny Kravitz.

Kayser, who studied drums in the UK, at Berklee College of Music and in Panama, is one of the most versatile young drummers on the international scene today. A trained jazz drummer and Afro‑beat specialist, she is currently on a heavy touring schedule worldwide with one of today’s biggest rock stars.

In her masterclass she covers a wide range of concepts: relating the African clave to various genres, deep‑diving into a specific Afro‑beat groove, sharing the technical warm‑ups she uses on tour, and demonstrating different ways to phrase fills around the drum kit.
